To have a doxy.me call, you need to give your browser permission to access your webcam and microphone.
Start here - Basic troubleshooting steps
Begin by logging into doxy.me on a web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) and follow the prompts to allow access to your camera and microphone
Your Self-preview video will appear on your browser window - the microphone and video will default to active
Your camera and microphone can be controlled by clicking on the More menu in the upper left-hand corner of the Self-preview video
Don’t see your Self-preview video? Complete a Pre-call test to troubleshoot.

Check the Function key
Some laptops/keyboards allow you to turn the camera on or off through a function key shortcut.
Check the F1-F12 keys at the top of your keyboard. If one of them has a camera icon, try pressing the Fn key (usually in the bottom-left corner of the keyboard) and then pressing the F-key with a camera icon to toggle the camera on or off.
