If your camera and microphone are blocked in Edge, there are a few steps to re-enable them for use on a call:
Please ensure you're using Edge version 79+
How to enable your camera and microphone in the browser
Select the lock icon located near the right side of your search bar.
Select the drop-down menu next to camera and microphone.
Change the camera and microphone access to Allow.
Refresh the browser tab (CTRL + R).
You can also test your device here to ensure everything is working correctly.
How to reset Edge permissions
From your Dashboard or the waiting room, click the lock icon in search bar.
Open Site Permissions.
3. Select Reset permissions and Reset.
4. Return to your Dashboard or the waiting room and refresh the page.
5. You'll be asked to allow access to your camera and microphone and be sure to select Allow.
If Using Edge on a Mobile Device
When you initially enter a waiting room or login to your Dashboard, you will be prompted to enable your camera and mic for use during a call. Please be sure to select Allow.
How to re-enable a blocked camera or mic
Tap the dots in upper right corner.
Open Settings.
3. Open Privacy.
4. Select Clear browsing data and restart Chrome.
Once you login or re-enter the waiting room, be sure to select Allow when prompted to enable camera and microphone.
How to reset Edge permissions
Open your device's Settings app.
Go to Apps & App permissions.
3. Select Edge from your list of installed apps.
4. Open Permissions and ensure your camera and microphone are toggled on.
5. Restart your Edge app before logging in or re-entering the waiting room.
