Enable email and text notifications

Receive an email or text message when a patient enters your waiting room

NOTE: Text and email notifications are only available on Professional and Clinic solutions.

Tired of wasting time waiting at your computer for a patient to arrive for their virtual appointment? No problem. Just enable email or text notifications and you'll be notified instantly when your patient arrives in your waiting room.

Both email and text notifications contain the patient's first name (if entered at check-in) and the specific room the patient is waiting in. For privacy reasons, last names are not included even if the patient enters a last name at check-in. See examples below.

To turn on text and email notifications

  1. Go to Account Settings.

  2. Open the Notifications tab.

  3. Click the toggle next to email or text notification to turn it on (green)

  4. Enter your preferred email or mobile number

    1. For text notifications, be sure to enter a number that accepts text messaging

  5. Click Update to save your changes.
