Are you having trouble connecting your AirPods or AirPods Pros to doxy.me? Here are a few ways to resolve the issue.

Connect AirPods or AirPods Pro to your device

  1. Ensure the device you are connecting to has been updated to the latest version.

  2. Navigate to your device's Bluetooth settings.

  3. Put your AirPods or AirPods Pro inside their case.

  4. Open the case and hold it next to your device (don’t remove the AirPods or AirPods Pro from the case yet).

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions, then select Done.

  6. Your AirPods or AirPods Pro should now be connected to your device.

Set AirPods or AirPods Pro as the default audio device

It’s best practice to connect your AirPods or AirPods Pro to your device prior to signing in to doxy.me. Once your AirPods or AirPods Pro are connected, log in to doxy.me and navigate to Device Settings on the Dashboard. Note: AirPods or AirPods Pro will show as the default option.

If AirPods or AirPods Pro are not listed as the default media option, make sure it is connected to your device and that it appears in your device’s Sound settings.

On Mac:

  1. Navigate to  > System Settings > Sound

  2. Ensure AirPods are selected as both Output and Input options in the menu.

On PC:

  1. Navigate to Settings > System > Sound

  2. Under Output, ensure AirPods are selected using the dropdown.

Reset AirPods or AirPods Pro

  1. Put both AirPods or Airpods Pro in their charging case.

  2. Locate the circular button on the back of the case, near the bottom.

  3. Open the charging case lid.

  4. Press and hold the button on the back of the case for around 15 seconds. The case's internal light will flash white and then amber to indicate that the AirPods or AirPods Pro have been reset. (On AirPods 2 and Apple's optional Wireless Charging Case, this light is located on the front of the case.)

  5. Open the case near your device to re-run the pairing process (see Connect AirPods or AirPods Pro to your device above).
