It is possible to accept payments from patients in various currencies. With the Professional and Clinic accounts, you can accept a payment from a patient before or during the session.

Payments from your patient will default to United States dollars (USD). However, we can do a currency exchange from your patient to receive payment in your preferred currency. Users on Professional and Clinic accounts can request this change via doxybot by opening a new chat support conversation from the Help button. The support team will implement this feature on your account.

Exchanging currency

We can support any currencies supported by Stripe apart from zero-decimal currencies. It will take about 24-48 hours to process the currency exchange.

NOTE: Once this change is made, it will remain in that currency.
