With Screen share, you and your patient can show each other entire device screens, specific browser tabs, or apps during the appointment.

Note: It is not possible to screen share from mobile devices like a phone or a tablet at this time.


How to use it

1. While in a session, click the My apps button and select Screen share

2. Choose to share your screen with your patient or request that your patient share their screen with you

3. Whoever shares their screen will choose to share a tab, window, or entire screen.

Here’s a brief description of each option:

  1. Tab: Show one browser tab

  2. Window: Show a single application or an internet browser with multiple open tabs

  3. Entire screen: Show everything that you’re seeing on your device’s screen*

Sharing a screen that has sound? Turn the share audio toggle on.

*Be careful not to share anything you don’t want the other person to see.

4. The doxy.me call screen will show the selection to the other person. To end the screen share, click the red Stop sharing button.

5. Continue your call, or use Screen share to show something else.
