At we use static room links, they don't change per call or per patient. If my room link is this will be the same link I send to all my patients. You might have a situation where the room link you send patients needs to change. We have the ability to automatically forward patients from an old room link to a new one so they don't get lost.

Reasons you might need to forward a room link:
